Before you go for a trek, it is important to pack the right gear. You do not want to realize you forgot your raincoat in the middle of a thunderstorm.
Soooo, I have put together this (hopefully) comprehensive list of stuff you need to carry if you are trekking independently. You can delete or ignore things that will be provided to you if you are going along with a trekking organization. I have not included items such as ice axes, rope and crampons, which you will definitely need if you are on a more technical climb. Although, it is not a bad idea to keep a 60 meter long dynamic rope for safety if trekking independently.
I have kept this such that you can print it out on a A4 page and use as a checklist readily. Please share freely, and do mention where you got it from if you do!
